This piece incorporates a ‘Collision,’ one piece appears to tear its way through another. We actually tearing the metal open while it is glowing hot, and shape the tear to the piece that is to be seen pushing its way through. In this case, the obtruding piece is the edge of a lens shape in flame-oxidized brass. This piece can be hung in any orientation, and may be hung outdoors in a sheltered location.
