Three patina techniques contrast and harmonize here: a white ochre slab, which consists of three layers of patinas ñ blue-green, brown, and white ñ for a look with depth like stone; the rich brown of traditional bronze sculpture, and the vibrant red of heat-treated copper. This piece can be hung in any orientation.
