Storm is part of my continuing series entitled Landscapes with an Object. These large watercolor paintings incorporate secrets and surprises that invoke the viewer to discover and think of the world in a new way, to take a leap into an imaginative world of discovery. A walk in the BayLands, Palo Alto, CA inspired this painting, the weather roiling in a tea pot on a sunny day. Painted later, in the studio.
