Through the act of documentation, the marks of the body in space become recorded on the surface of the canvas creating a tension between the progression and the outcome. The notion of restraint becomes visible through the quick gestural quality of the marks and textures left behind by the execution of performance in the studio. The goal is to provide the audience with a glimpse in to the artists practice.
