“I begin each day with silence and meditation. The stillness allows me to reflect on a dream or the morning light filtering through the trees. After this quiet time, I begin working with clay. The coolness between my fingers reminds me of when I was a child playing in the mud. I begin the painting process after sundown at times. This time of day seems to allow the painting to emerge organically.
One of my greatest joys is watching a painting unfold before my eyes. Each piece of my art has its own light and story to tell. My work is simple and elegant. It gives me great pleasure to share this with you.”
