The two circles depict the two worlds, Heavenly World and Underworld, the first split of Creation.  The overlap in the conjoined circles creates a vesica piscis, the “eye” where the Middle World, our physical world, emerged through this portal and now exists between the two.

We are now in this time of social, political, world chaos.  I view this as the world structure coming to a completion in the 0-9 Sacred Law.  It will become the past and move into the Underworld and become a two-dimensional memory and story.  We are being compelled to move through this portal and a new World Tree will grow from the roots of the past.  The woman makes a new ripple in the water, the action starts a new cycle of the 0-9 outward ripple pattern and we start over, one level up.  Some will live and some will die, along with our beliefs, philosophies, politics, rules, and laws.  It is a time of great learning as the Jaws of Death emits its’ energy through a pandemic and claims what belongs to it; and forces the living to evolve.  Quetzalcoatl soars above the Heavenly World carrying the cosmic vibration that is the only energy that is eternal and infinite.

“Wisdom is offered to me through shamanic training and world traveling is my inspiration. Making art pieces on concepts such as ‘forgiveness’ or ‘balance’ is my study of relationships with life.

As I work my pieces, I can meditate on the aspects of the concept and work these perceptions into the construction for an evolving understanding of the original concept. I work with many materials; from hand-dyeing fabrics to painting, sewing, beading, collage.

As I cultivate a piece, concepts develop further into the abstract, to ultimately create a story that is personal to me, but still open to free interpretation.”
