This unique dresser won second place in contemporary furniture at the 2016 San Diego Design In Wood. The design was inspired by the desire to see the drawer sides and backs, using a minimum of parts, thereby showing off the beautiful quarter-sawn walnut. Weighing in at 85 lbs, this dresser is a truly original piece.
Todd Bradlee first built a house at the age of 14. His father helped a little, and his grandmother lived there until she died. During 15 years of remodeling houses in New England he made an annual pilgrimage to California’s Eastern Sierra to climb, before moving there in 2003. A year later, he began designing and making art furniture.
